The West Campus is a residential neighborhood and is mostly occupied by students attending University of Texas at Austin. New apartment high rises is becoming a popular for developers to accommodate students to share with others. Although the area has significant flair of Austin’s history as well as the University, there are still some historic and older homes on the tree-lined streets. Among others are independently owned low rise (2 level) apartments that are built in the 60-70s. These apartments tends towards single living and for those who prefers to live by themselves. Occupant of these units are not only students but also others who works in the nearby areas. They don’t require being a student to live there.
